इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः

तंतपन्तमिवादित्यंघोरैर्बाणगभस्तिभिः ।अभ्यधावन्तसङ्कृद्धास्सम्युगेवानरर्षभाः ।।।।
taṃ tapantam ivādityaṃ ghorair bāṇa-gabhastibhiḥ |
abhyadhāvanta saṅkruddhāḥ samyuge vānararṣabhāḥ ||
Sa tindi ng galit sa sagupaan, sumugod ang pinakamahuhusay na Vanara patungo sa kanya—na parang naglalagablab na araw—na ang kakila-kilabot niyang mga palaso’y kumikislap na tila mga sinag.
