The Slaying of Kumbhakarna

The mighty Rakshasa regained his consciousness and, doubling his fist hit Angada with the back of his hand and Angada fell, lost senses.
It underscores the battlefield reality that dharma requires steadiness amid reversals; righteous forces may suffer setbacks but must persist without abandoning their cause.
After being stunned, Kumbhakarṇa recovers and retaliates, striking Aṅgada so hard that he faints and collapses.
Kumbhakarṇa’s physical might is emphasized (not moral excellence), serving as a narrative test of the Vānara army’s resilience.
