Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
न मर्षयन्तिचात्मानंसम्भावयतिनात्मना ।अदर्शयित्वाशूरास्तुकर्मकुर्वन्तिदुष्करम् ।।।।
na marṣayanti cātmānaṃ sambhāvayati nātmanā |
adarśayitvā śūrās tu karma kurvanti duṣkaram ||6.65.04||
Ang tunay na mandirigma ay hindi nagpapakalabis sa sarili kahit pinararangalan; hindi niya pinupuri ang sarili. Nang walang pagpapakitang-tao, tinatapos niya ang mga gawang mahirap isagawa.
"Warriors do not tolerate even when glorified. They never praise themselves. They accomplish difficult deeds without displaying them."
