कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः
Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana
तदिचेन्द्राद्भयं राजन्यदि चापिस्वयम्भुवः ।ततोऽहंनाशयिष्यामिनैशंतमइवांशुमान् ।।6.63.52।।अपिदेवाश्शयिष्यन्तेक्रुद्धेमयिमहीतले ।
tad iced indrād bhayaṃ rājan yadi cāpi svayambhuvaḥ |
tato 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi naiśaṃ tama ivāṃśumān ||
api devāḥ śayiṣyante kruddhe mayi mahītale |
Kung natatakot ka man kay Indra, O Hari, o kahit sa Sariling-Ipinanganak na si Brahmā, wawasakin ko ang takot na iyon gaya ng araw na pumapawi sa dilim ng gabi. Kapag ako’y nagngangalit, maging ang mga diyos ay mabubuwal sa lupa.
