Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
Endowed with a great mind and energetic Hanuman became alert and seeking to fight with Ravana, feeling fresh, enraged, looking at Nila said "It is not correct to attack one who is fighting with another."
The verse underscores that strength and skill can neutralize brute force; Dharma’s path therefore relies not merely on power but on perseverance and right strategy against a capable opponent.
Rāvaṇa shoots down the mountain-peak hurled by Nīla, breaking it apart mid-attack.
Rāvaṇa’s martial prowess and precision (though used in an adharma cause) are highlighted.
