Hanuman’s rout of the Rakshasa host
तत्पर्वताग्रमाकाशेरक्षोबाणविदारितम् ।विकीर्णंपतितंदृष्टवाहनुमान्क्रोधमूर्छितः ।।6.56.19।।
tat parvatāgram ākāśe rakṣobāṇavidāritam |
vikīrṇaṃ patitaṃ dṛṣṭvā hanumān krodhamūrcchitaḥ ||6.56.19||
Nang makita ni Hanumān ang tuktok ng bundok sa himpapawid na winasak ng mga palaso ng Rākṣasa, nagkalat sa pira-piraso at bumagsak, siya’y nilamon ng matinding bugso ng poot.
Hanuman seeing the peak of the mountain broken into pieces by Rakshasa's arrows and fallen was deluded with anger.
It warns that even noble warriors can be swept by anger; dharma requires strength guided by discernment, not uncontrolled krodha.
Hanumān watches his improvised weapon (the lifted peak) destroyed mid-air and reacts with intense anger.
Powerful emotional intensity—yet implicitly the need for restraint, since anger can cloud judgment even in righteous combat.
