ततःप्रवृत्तंतुमुलंहरीणांराक्षसैस्सह ।घोराणांभीमरूपाणामन्योन्यवथकाङ् क्षिणाम् ।।।।
tataḥ pravṛttaṃ tumulaṃ harīṇāṃ rākṣasaiḥ saha |
ghorāṇāṃ bhīmarūpāṇām anyonyavathakāṅkṣiṇām ||
Pagkaraan, sumiklab ang magulong labanan ng mga hukbo ng Vānara at ng mga Rākṣasa—nakapangingilabot at kakila-kilabot ang anyo—bawat panig ay nagnanais ng paglipol sa kabila.
