Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
ततस्सुपर्णःकाकुत्स्थौस्पृष्टवाप्रत्यभिनदनितः ।विममर्शचपाणिभ्यांमुखेचन्द्रसमप्रभे ।।6.50.38।।
tataḥ suparṇaḥ kākutsthau spṛṣṭvā pratyabhinandya ca |
vimamarśa ca pāṇibhyāṃ mukhe candrasamaprabhe ||6.50.38||
Pagkaraan, si Suparṇa (Garuḍa), matapos hipuin at parangalan ang dalawang supling ng angkang Kakutstha, marahang pinunasan ng kaniyang mga kamay ang kanilang mga mukhang kasingliwanag ng buwan.
Caressed by Garuda, both their bodies were cleared of wounds instantly shone like gold and turned bright.
Respect for the righteous: even a mighty divine being honors dharmic persons, showing that true greatness includes humility and reverence.
After freeing them, Garuḍa greets Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa respectfully and tends to them with care.
Humility and service (seva-bhāva) expressed through respectful touch and gentle care.
