There arose wonderful sounds of musical instruments, the sounds of kettle drums, wooden drums, mixed with conchs and flutes.
Dharma in epic warfare includes ordered signals and collective coordination; the instruments symbolize organized effort rather than chaotic violence, supporting right conduct through structure.
As night battle deepens, the battlefield fills with martial music and signals—drums, conches, and flutes.
Unity and discipline: the sounds imply coordinated ranks and shared resolve in pursuing the righteous objective.
