समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
काराग्रैश्चरणाग्रैश्च वानरै रुत्थितं रजः ।भीममन्तर्दधे लोकं निवार्य सवितुः प्रभाम् ।।6.4.58।। पर्वतवनाकाशां दक्षिणां हरिवाहिनी ।छादयन्ती ययौ भीमा द्यामिवाम्बुदसन्ततिः ।।6.4.59।।
karāgraiś caraṇāgraiś ca vānarair utthitaṃ rajaḥ | bhīmam antardadhe lokaṃ nivārya savituḥ prabhām | parvata-vana-ākāśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ harivāhinī | chādayantī yayau bhīmā dyām ivāmbuda-santatiḥ ||
Ang alikabok na itinaas ng mga unggoy sa kanilang mga kamay at paa ay naging mabagsik, tinakpan ang daigdig at hinarangan ang liwanag ng araw. Ang kakila-kilabot na hukbong timog ng mga Vānara ay sumulong, binabalot ang bundok, gubat, at langit na parang walang patid na ulap na nakalatag.
