Transliteration

daṇḍanirghātavādinyā śrutvā bheryā mahāsvanam | uvāca saramā sītām idaṃ madhurabhāṣiṇī ||

Translation

Nang marinig ang malakas na dagundong ng mga tambol at ang salpukan ng mga pamalo at tungkod, sinabi ni Saramā na matamis magsalita ang ganito kay Sītā.
