The Display of the Illusory Head of Rāma
सागरेपतिताःकेचित्केचिग्दगनमाश्रिताः ।ऋक्षावृक्षानुपारूढावानरींवृत्तिमाश्रिताः ।।।।
sāgare patitāḥ kecit kecid gaganam āśritāḥ |
ṛkṣāḥ vṛkṣān upārūḍhā vānarīṃ vṛttim āśritāḥ ||
May ilan ang lumagpak sa dagat; may ilan ang sumilong sa himpapawid. Ang mga ṛkṣa, ayon sa gawi ng mga vānara, ay umakyat sa mga punò.
"While a few Vanaras dived into the sea, some took refuge in the sky. Resorting to their natural way the Bears climbed the trees."
Under threat, beings seek protection in ways natural to them; the broader dharmic frame is survival and regrouping for a righteous cause rather than senseless self-destruction.
The allied forces scatter to different refuges—sea, sky, and trees—amid battlefield danger.
Pragmatic courage and adaptability—finding safe positions to continue serving the righteous side.
