Transliteration

yasya vikramamāṇasya śakrasyeva parākramaḥ |

eṣa gandharva-kanyāyām utpannaḥ kṛṣṇa-vartmanaḥ ||6.27.20||

tadā devāsure yuddhe sāhyārthaṃ tridivaukasām

Translation

Sa paglusong niya sa pakikidigma, ang kaniyang tapang ay tulad ng kay Śakra. Siya’y isinilang sa isang dalagang Gandharva sa pamamagitan ni Kṛṣṇavartman; at sa sinaunang digmaan ng mga deva at asura, siya’y tumindig upang tumulong sa mga nananahan sa langit.
