Sa unahan ng hukbo ay nakatindig ang mandirigmang si Nīla, pinunò ng pangkat, na naglilingkod sa dakilang-loob na si Sugrīva, panginoon ng lahat ng angkan ng mga Vānara.
"Who, surrounded by thousands of troops is roaring aloud facing Lanka, with whose roar entire Lanka with its boundary walls, archways, mountains and woods are trembling, that one who stands in the forefront of Sugriva the Lord of all Vanara troops is known as the great Nila."
Dharma is shown as ordered leadership and loyal service: commanders stand at the front in protection of their cause, and strength is aligned under legitimate authority (Sugrīva’s command).
Sāraṇa identifies the roaring front-line commander as Nīla and situates him within Sugrīva’s chain of command.
Loyalty and frontline courage—standing at the head of the forces for the collective good.
