शुकसारण-चारप्रवेशः
Suka and Sāraṇa’s Espionage and Release
संस्थितंपर्वताग्रेषुनिर्दरेषुगुहासुच ।समुद्रस्यचतीरेषुवनेषूपवनेषुच ।।।।तरमाणंचतीर्णंचतर्तुकामंचसर्वशः ।निविष्टंनिविश्चैवभीमनादंमहाबलम् ।।।।तद्बलार्णवमक्षोभ्यंददृशातेनिशाचरौ ।
saṃsthitaṃ parvatāgreṣu nirdareṣu guhāsu ca | samudrasya ca tīreṣu vaneṣūpavaneṣu ca ||
taramāṇaṃ ca tīrṇaṃ ca tartukāmaṃ ca sarvaśaḥ | niviṣṭaṃ niviś caiva bhīmanādaṃ mahābalam ||
tad-balārṇavam akṣobhyaṃ dadṛśāte niśācarau ||
Nakita ng dalawang rākṣasa ang hukbong parang karagatan—di matinag at makapangyarihan—na nakalat sa lahat ng dako: nakapuwesto sa tuktok ng mga bundok, sa mga bangin at yungib, sa mga pampang ng dagat, at sa mga gubat at halamanan. May mga tumatawid pa, may mga nakatawid na, may mga sabik pang tumawid; ang iba nama’y nakalapag na sa kani-kanilang pook, at nagbubuga ng nakapanghihilakbot na sigaw. Gayon nila namasdan ang dagat ng lakas na di magalaw.
The ocean of army settled on the mountain summits, in caverns and caves, on the shores of the ocean, in the forests and adjoining gardens; some who crossed the sea some in the process of crossing settled all over was witnessed by the Rakshasas. It was never ending and making terrific noise.
