At si Rāma—pumatay kay Virādha, Kabandha, at Khara—ay dumating dito kasama si Sugrīva, tumuntong sa landas ng digmaang ito alang-alang kay Sītā.
"The life of Viradha, Kabhanda and Khara has been taken away by Rama. Accompanied by Sugriva they have set their foot into Lanka for Sita's sake."
Rama’s campaign is framed as dharmic: he acts to protect righteousness and recover Sītā, not for conquest—linking power to moral purpose.
Śuka reports to Rāvaṇa about Rama’s identity, allies, and past victories, emphasizing that Rama has arrived for Sītā.
Rama’s steadfastness and protective duty (rakṣaṇa-dharma), supported by loyal alliance (Sugrīva).
