Sarga 122
न मेस्वर्गोबहुमतस्सम्मानश्चसुरर्षभैः ।त्वयारामविहीनस्यसत्यंप्रतिशृणोमिते ।।।।
na me svargo bahumataḥ sammānaś ca surarṣabhaiḥ | tvayā rāma-vihīnasya satyaṃ pratiśṛṇomi te ||
“Sa akin, walang halaga ang mismong langit, ni ang mga parangal mula sa pinakadakila sa mga diyos, habang ako’y napagkaitan sa iyo, O Rāma. Ito ang katotohanan; ipinananata ko sa iyo.”
