Transliteration

na hi śaktaḥ suduṣṭātmā manasāpi hi maithilīm |

pradharṣayitum aprāpyāṁ dīptām agni-śikhām iva ||

Translation

Hindi nagawang lapastanganin ng lubhang masamang-loob na iyon si Maithilī, kahit sa isip man lamang—sapagkat siya’y di-malalapitan, nagniningas na gaya ng dila ng apoy.
