Rama-Stava: Brahma Reveals Rama’s Nārāyaṇa Identity
भवान्नारायणोदेवःश्रीमांश्चक्रायुधःप्रभुः ।।।।एकशृङ्गोवराहस्त्वंभूतभव्यसपत्नजित् ।
bhavān nārāyaṇo devaḥ śrīmāṃś cakrāyudhaḥ prabhuḥ | ekaśṛṅgo varāhas tvaṃ bhūtabhavya-sapatnajit ||6.120.13||
Ikaw mismo si Nārāyaṇa, ang Diyos na Panginoon—maluwalhati, may sandatang Sudarśana na cakra. Ikaw ang sinaunang Varāha na may iisang sungay, manlulupig ng lahat ng kaaway, nakaaalam ng nagdaan at darating.
"You are the divine self, glorious Narayana himself, wielder of discus. You are having a single tusk and a divine boar, knower of past and present."
Dharma is safeguarded by the divine principle embodied in the ideal ruler; the revelation frames Rāma as the protector of cosmic order.
Brahmā reveals Rāma’s higher identity after Rāma asks about his origin and nature.
Protective lordship and unwavering power aligned with truth and dharma—strength used for the restoration of order.
