Transliteration

paśyatas tāṃ tu rāmasya samīpe hṛdaya-priyām | jana-vāda-bhayād rājño babhūva hṛdayaṃ dvidhā ||

Translation

Kahit tinitingnan ni Rāma ang minamahal ng kanyang puso na nasa malapit, dahil sa takot sa usap-usapan ng bayan, nahati sa dalawa ang puso ng hari.
