अतीतानागतार्थज्ञोवर्तमानविचक्षणः ।।6.114.70।।मैथिलीमाहृतांदृष्टवाध्यात्वानिःश्वस्यचायतम् ।सत्यवाक्यमहाबाहो देवरोमेयदब्रवीत् ।।6.114.71।।अयंराक्षसमुख्यानांविनाशःपर्युपस्थितः ।कामक्रोधसमुत्थेनव्यसनेनप्रसङ्गिना ।।6.114.72।।
ayaṃ rākṣasa-mukhyānāṃ vināśaḥ paryupasthitaḥ |
kāma-krodha-samutthena vyasanena prasaṅginā ||6.114.72||
Narito na ang pagkapuksa ng mga pinunò sa mga Rākṣasa; lumapit na ito. Ipinanganak ito sa kapahamakan na dulot ng mapanirang pagkakapit na umusbong sa pagnanasa at poot.
"Mighty armed King! Your brother, who is a knower of matters relating to future, present and past, a truthful one, after your getting Mythili, thought for a while and sighing spoke this. 'The destruction of Rakshasa chiefs is now sure to happen', has come true.' The desire for sensual pleasures and anger has resulted in your death and resulting in this calamity."
It teaches that adharma driven by kāma (unrestrained desire) and krodha (anger) inevitably leads to vyasana—ruin—and therefore to destruction; self-control is a core requirement of dharma.
It presents a truthful moral diagnosis: the impending downfall is not accidental but the direct consequence of lust-and-anger-driven choices, affirming satya as clear recognition of cause and effect in conduct.
