Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
नैवार्थेन न कामेनविक्रमेण न चाज्ञया ।शक्यादैवगतिर्लोकेनिवर्तयितुमुद्यता ।।।।
naivārthena na kāmena vikrameṇa na cājñayā | śakyā daivagatir loke nivartayitum udyatā ||
Sa daigdig na ito, ang landas ng tadhana kapag umusad na ay hindi na maibabalik—hindi sa yaman, hindi sa pagnanasa, hindi sa kagitingan, ni maging sa utos ng hari.
"In the world, to change the divine course of action, it is not possible with wealth, or will or by prowess or king's orders."
