Transliteration

brahmaṇā nirmitaṃ pūrvam indrārtham amita-ojasā |

dattaṃ sura-pateḥ pūrvaṃ tri-loka-jaya-kāṅkṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

Noon pa man, nilikha ito ni Brahma na di masukat ang kapangyarihan para kay Indra; at sa mga unang panahon ay ipinagkaloob niya ito sa panginoon ng mga diyos, nang hangarin nitong magwagi sa tatlong daigdig.
