रामरावणयोर्युद्धवैषम्यं तथा रावणशिरश्छेदनम्
Rama–Ravana Duel Intensifies; Ravana’s Heads Severed and Reappear
न चैवरावणस्यान्तोदृश्यतेजीवितक्षये ।ततस्सर्वास्त्रविद्वीरःकौसल्यानन्दवर्धनः ।।।।मार्गणैर्बहुभिर्युक्तश्चिन्तयामासराघवः ।
na caiva rāvaṇasyānto dṛśyate jīvitakṣaye |
tataḥ sarvāstravid vīraḥ kausalyānandavardhanaḥ |
mārgaṇair bahubhir yuktaś cintayāmāsa rāghavaḥ ||
Ngunit hindi makita ni Rāghava ang wakas ng buhay ni Rāvaṇa na papalapit. Kaya ang bayaning bihasa sa lahat ng sandata—na laging nagpapasaya kay Kausalyā—bagaman may taglay na maraming palaso, ay nagmuni-muni.
Rama, knower of all shastras, valiant, enhancer of Kausalya's joy, well versed in the use of weapons, was not able to see the end of Ravana's life. He started thinking.
