Rama–Ravana Duel Intensifies; Ravana’s Heads Severed and Reappear
ततोदेवास्सगन्धर्वास्सिद्धाश्चपरमर्षयः ।चिन्तामापेदिरेसर्वेसकिन्नरमहोरगाः ।।।।
tato devāḥ sa-gandharvāḥ siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ | cintām āpedire sarve sa-kinnara-mahoragāḥ ||
Pagkaraan, ang mga Deva kasama ang mga Gandharva, ang mga Siddha at ang mga dakilang rishi, pati ang mga Kinnara at ang makapangyarihang mga ahas—lahat ay sinakmal ng pangamba habang minamasdan ang takbo ng labanan.
Thereafter, the Gandharvas, Devas, Siddhas, great sages, Kinneras and huge serpents all of them became anxious.
Even divine beings feel concern when Dharma is being decided through a terrifying conflict; the verse highlights the gravity of moral consequence and the responsibility tied to righteous victory.
Celestial beings observe the climactic Rāma–Rāvaṇa battle and become anxious about its outcome.
Rāma’s role as the upholder of Dharma is implied—his victory matters to the stability of the worlds, prompting even the gods to worry.
