रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्
Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition
स दीप्तनयनोरोषाच्चापमायाम्यवीर्यवान् ।अभ्यर्दयत्सुसङ्कृद्धोराघवंपरमाहवे ।।।।बाणधारसहस्रैस्तैस्सतोयदइवाम्बरात् ।राघवंरावणोबाणैस्तटकमिवपूरयन् ।।।।
sa dīptanayano roṣāc cāpam āyamya vīryavān |
abhyardayat susaṅkruddho rāghavaṃ paramāhave ||
bāṇadhārāsahasrais taiḥ satoyada ivāmbarāt |
rāghavaṃ rāvaṇo bāṇais taṭākam iva pūrayan ||

It frames the battlefield as the arena where kṣātra-dharma is tested: power and fury are shown, but the deeper ethic is that force must ultimately be governed by righteousness, not rage.
Rāvaṇa launches an intense arrow-barrage against Rāma, escalating the duel with overwhelming projectile force.
Indirectly, Rāma’s endurance is set up by contrast—he must remain steady under a storm of attacks.
