नैराश्यमुपगन्तुं च नालंतेमत्कृतेऽनघ ।।।।वधेनरावणस्याद्यप्रतिज्ञामनुपालय ।
nairāśyam upagantuṃ ca nālaṃ te matkṛte 'nagha |
vadhena rāvaṇasyādya pratijñām anupālaya ||
O walang dungis, hindi nararapat na mawalan ka ng pag-asa dahil sa akin. Ngayon, sa pagpatay kay Rāvaṇa, tuparin mo ang iyong panata.
'My heroism is shy, my bow slips from my hand, arrows are dropping, my vision is blurred with tears with my brother gone.'
