Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain
यथैवमांवनंयान्तमनुयातिमहाद्युतिः ।अहमप्युपयास्यामितथैवैनंयमक्षयम् ।।।।
yathaiva māṃ vanaṃ yāntam anuyāti mahādyutiḥ | aham apy upayāsyāmi tathaivainaṃ yamakṣayam ||
Kung paanong ang maningning na Lakshmana’y sumunod sa akin nang ako’y tumungo sa gubat, gayon din susundan ko siya ngayon—patungo sa walang hanggang tahanan ni Yama, Panginoon ng Kamatayan.
'Lakshmana who is endowed with splendour followed me to the forest. In the same way I will follow him to the god of death.'
