Transliteration

jānantī bata diṣṭyā māṃ vaidehi paripṛcchasi | bhartuḥ kamalapattrākṣi saṃsthānaṃ lakṣmaṇasya ca ||

Translation

O Vaidehī, ikaw na may matang gaya ng talulot ng lotus—bagaman batid mo na ang anyo at mga tanda ng iyong mahal na asawa at ni Lakṣmaṇa, pinagpala ang kapalaran na ako’y iyong tinatanong upang ilarawan sila.
