The Attempted Seizure of Sabalā (Kāmadhenu) and the Triumph of Brahmic Power
Lowing and moaning, standing before Vasishta, roaring like thunder and of kettle-drum, Sabala said:
Dharma includes hearing the cry of the afflicted. The verse frames a just hearing: the victim approaches the righteous authority to speak truthfully.
Śabalā reaches Vasiṣṭha and begins her plea, emotionally and powerfully.
Courage to voice suffering and the commitment to truth in seeking redress.
