Enraged at the curse, senseless, Tataka with anger, has been ravaging this sacred land when Agastya walked.
Dharma includes protecting sacred and peaceful regions from violent disruption; anger that turns outward becomes a threat to communal well-being.
Viśvāmitra describes Tāṭakā’s present danger: she is actively devastating a holy area connected with Agastya.
Viśvāmitra’s commitment to restoring order by informing Rāma truthfully about the threat and its cause.
