दशरथस्य अन्त्येष्टि
विधानम् — Dasaratha’s Funeral Rites and Ayodhya’s Mourning
शिबिकाभिश्च यानैश्च यथार्हं तस्य योषितः।नगरा न्निर्ययुस्तत्र वृद्धैः परिवृता स्तदा।।2.76.19।।
śibikābhiś ca yānaiś ca yathārhaṃ tasya yoṣitaḥ |
nagarān niryayus tatra vṛddhaiḥ parivṛtās tadā || 2.76.19 ||
Pagkaraan, ang mga kababaihan ng hari—na inayos ayon sa kanilang antas—ay lumabas mula sa lungsod patungo roon, napalilibutan ng matatandang tagapaglingkod; ang ilan ay nasa mga palankin at ang iba nama’y nasa mga sasakyan.
Thereafter, the courtesans weeping uncontrollably and, lamenting again and again, alighted from carriages on the bank of the river Sarayu.
