भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

अद्य मे सप्तमी रात्रिश्च्युतस्याऽर्यकवेश्मनः।अम्बायाः कुशली तात युधाजिन्मातुलश्च मे।।2.72.8।।
adya me saptamī rātriś cyutasyāryaka-veśmanaḥ |
ambāyāḥ kuśalī tāta yudhājin-mātulaś ca me ||
Ngayong araw ang ikapitong gabi mula nang ako’y umalis sa tahanan ng aking marangal na lolo. Ligtas at maayos ang ama ng aking ina, at gayundin ang aking tiyuhing si Yudhājit, ama.
This is the seventh night since I left my noble grandsire's residence. My mother's father, king of Kekaya and my maternal uncle Yudhajit are doing well.
