स कृत्वा तूदकं तूर्णं तापस स्सह भार्यया।मामुवाच महातेजाः कृताञ्जलिमुपस्थितम्।।।।
sa kṛtvā tūḍakaṃ tūrṇaṃ tāpasaḥ saha bhāryayā | mām uvāca mahātejāḥ kṛtāñjalim upasthitam ||
Matapos mabilis na maisagawa ang pag-aalay ng tubig para sa patay kasama ang kanyang asawa, ang maningning na asetiko ay nagsalita sa akin, habang ako ay nakatayo sa kanyang harapan na magkadaop ang mga palad.
