Daśaratha Questions Sumantra; Messages from the Forest Threshold
सूत मद्वचनात्तस्य तातस्य विदितात्मनः।शिरसा वन्दनीयस्य वन्द्यौ पादौ महात्मनः।।।।
sūta madvacanāt tasya tātasya viditātmanaḥ |
śirasā vandanīyasya vandyau pādau mahātmanaḥ ||
“O kutsero, iparating mo mula sa akin sa aking ama—marangal, may pagpipigil sa sarili, at karapat-dapat sambahin—na ako’y yumuyuko at sumasamba sa kanyang mga paa, na sila man ay karapat-dapat sa pagpupugay.”
'On my behalf convey, O charioteer, without any distinction, my salutations to all thewomen befitting their status and tell them I was enquiring about their wellbeing.
