Transliteration

adyeyaṁ prathamā rātrir yātā janapadād bahiḥ |

yā sumantreṇa rahitā tāṁ notkaṇṭhitum arhasi ||

Translation

Ito ang unang gabing gugugulin natin sa labas ng lupang tinitirhan ng mga tao, at wala si Sumantra; gayunman, hindi mo dapat hayaang lamunin ka ng pangamba.
