रामदर्शनार्थं दारानयनम्
The Queens Summoned; Rama’s Leave-Taking and Dasaratha’s Collapse
पिता हि दैवतं तात देवतानामपि स्मृतम्।तस्माद्दैवतमित्येव करिष्यामि पितुर्वचः।।।।
pitā hi daivataṃ tāta devatānām api smṛtam | tasmād daivatam ity eva kariṣyāmi pitur vacaḥ ||
Ang ama, anak, ay itinuturing na isang diyos—maging para sa mga diyos. Kaya, yamang itinuturing kong aking ama bilang aking sariling Diyos, tutuparin ko ang utos ng aking ama.
Father is divine even for the gods as cited in scriptures, therefore, looking upon father as my god, I will carry out his words, O father!
