Kausalya’s Benedictions and Protective Rites for Rama
After you have fulfilled your father's words and returned from your exile I shall behold you seated on the throne, O Rama!
Satya and filial dharma: honoring the father’s word is treated as a sacred obligation; rightful rule follows fulfilled duty.
Kausalyā envisions Rāma completing the exile vow and returning to assume the throne.
Rāma’s truthfulness and obedience—commitment to the pledged command despite personal loss.
