भरतस्य प्रार्थना—रामस्य धर्मोपदेशः
Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Dharma-Reasoning
वयमस्य यथा लोके सङ्ख्याता: सौम्य साधुभिः।भार्याः पुत्राश्च शिष्याश्च त्वमनुज्ञातुमर्हसि।।।।
vayam asya yathā loke saṅkhyātāḥ saumya sādhubhiḥ | bhāryāḥ putrāś ca śiṣyāś ca tvam anujñātum arhasi ||
O mahinahon, ipagkaloob mo na kami’y kilalanin sa daigdig gaya ng pagkilala ng mga banal: na ang mga asawa, mga anak, at mga alagad ay nabubuhay sa ilalim ng wastong paggabay.
O handsome one, you should treat us the way the virtuous treat their wives, sons and disciples in this world.
