Viśokā Dvādaśī Vow, Guḍa-Dhenū (Jaggery-Cow) Gift, and Śaila-Dāna (Mountain-Charity) Rites

वसिष्ठ उवाच । पुरा लीलावती नाम वेश्या शिवपरायणा । तया दत्तश्चतुर्दश्यां पुष्करे लवणाचलः

Sinabi ni Vasiṣṭha: Noong unang panahon, may isang courtesan na nagngangalang Līlāvatī, na lubos na nakatuon kay Śiva. Sa ika-labing-apat na araw ng buwan, naghandog siya sa Puṣkara—isang kaloob na kasinlaki ng Bundok Lavaṇācala.
