Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"karuna","emotional_journey":"From anxiety over dharmic offenses to relief and inner cleansing through the Goddess’s forgiveness granted by bathing at the tirtha."}
It teaches the mahatmya (spiritual potency) of a sacred tīrtha: bathing there invokes the presiding Goddess’s grace, which neutralizes even dharma-related transgressions and restores ritual-spiritual purity.
The emphasis is on divine mercy (kṣamā) rather than mere self-effort—approaching the tīrtha with श्रद्धा (faith) and reverence to the Devi is presented as a devotional act that brings forgiveness.
Ritual practice (kalpa-oriented prayoga) is implied: tīrtha-snana functions as a form of prāyaścitta (expiation) within dharma-śāstra frameworks, emphasizing correct observance of purificatory rites.
