Glory of Prayaga and the Magha Bath at Triveni
तत्र दृष्ट्वा तु तत्तीर्थं प्रयागं परमं पदम् । मुच्यन्ते सर्वपापेभ्यः शशांक इव राहुणा ॥ ५८ ॥
tatra dṛṣṭvā tu tattīrthaṃ prayāgaṃ paramaṃ padam | mucyante sarvapāpebhyaḥ śaśāṃka iva rāhuṇā || 58 ||
Doon, sa pagtanaw lamang sa banal na tirtha—ang Prayāga, ang kataas-taasang tahanan—ang mga tao’y napapalaya sa lahat ng kasalanan, gaya ng buwan na nakaliligtas sa pagkakahawak ni Rāhu.

The verse uses an astronomical-puranic image (Rāhu seizing the Moon) that aligns with Jyotiṣa-style symbolism, reinforcing how cosmic motifs are employed to teach moral purification (pāpa-kṣaya) through tīrtha-darśana.
