Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya
अहंकारविमुक्तश्च स तीर्थफलमाप्नुयात । अकल्पको निरारम्भो लघ्वाहारो जितेंद्रियः ॥ १४ ॥
ahaṃkāravimuktaśca sa tīrthaphalamāpnuyāta | akalpako nirārambho laghvāhāro jiteṃdriyaḥ || 14 ||
Ang taong napalaya sa pagkamakasarili (ego) ay tunay na nakakamit ang bunga ng paglalakbay-dambana sa tīrtha. Namumuhay nang payak, hindi nagsisimula ng bagong gawain, kumakain nang magaan, at napagtagumpayan ang mga pandama—siya ang tumatanggap ng tunay na pakinabang ng banal na tawiran.
