तृप्यतामिति सुव्यक्तं नामगोत्रेण वाग्यतः । कायस्थैर्यस्तिलैर्मोहात्करोति पितृतर्पणम् ॥ ६४ ॥
tṛpyatāmiti suvyaktaṃ nāmagotreṇa vāgyataḥ | kāyasthairyastilairmohātkaroti pitṛtarpaṇam || 64 ||
Malinaw na sabihin, “Nawa’y masiyahan sila,” at banggitin ang pangalan at gotra nang may pagpipigil sa pananalita; na matatag ang katawan, isinasagawa niya ang Pitṛ-tarpaṇa gamit ang linga—bagaman marami ang gumagawa nito dahil sa kamangmangan, hindi nauunawaan ang tunay na diwa.
