तर्पणे तूभयं कुर्यादेष एव विधिः सदा । अन्वारब्धेन सव्येन पाणिना दक्षिणेन तु ॥ ६३ ॥

tarpaṇe tūbhayaṃ kuryādeṣa eva vidhiḥ sadā | anvārabdhena savyena pāṇinā dakṣiṇena tu || 63 ||

Sa tarpaṇa, laging isagawa ang dalawang paraan; ito ang palagiang tuntunin—gamitin ang kaliwang kamay nang hindi sinasalo o hinahawakan, at ang kanang kamay ayon sa itinakda.
