भक्त्या तु तन्मना भूत्वा पुराणं पुण्यमुक्तिदम् । मार्कंडेयह्रदे स्नानं सर्वकालं प्रशस्यते ॥ २१ ॥
bhaktyā tu tanmanā bhūtvā purāṇaṃ puṇyamuktidam | mārkaṃḍeyahrade snānaṃ sarvakālaṃ praśasyate || 21 ||
Ngunit sa pamamagitan ng bhakti, na ang isip ay lubos na nakatuon sa Kanya, ang banal na Purāṇa na ito—nagkakaloob ng kabutihan at kalayaan—ay nagsasaad na ang pagligo sa Lawa ni Mārkaṇḍeya ay pinupuri sa lahat ng panahon.
