Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that even a distant darśana of Hari’s emblem (the Sudarśana Chakra) on a temple sanctifies the devotee, and devotion expressed through prostration quickly destroys pāpa.
Bhakti is shown as simple and accessible: recognition of Vishnu’s presence through His symbol, followed by humble pranāma; the inner attitude (bhaktyā) is presented as the decisive power that brings purification.
It primarily reflects ritual practice (temple darśana and pranāma) rather than a specific Vedāṅga; the practical takeaway is the dhārmic discipline of respectful temple conduct and devotional salutation.
