Pūjādi-kathana — Gaṅgā Vratas, Tenfold Worship, Stotra, and Mokṣa on the Riverbank
नैवेद्यं च निवेद्यैव कृशरान्नं शिवस्य तु । काष्ठमौनेन भुंजानो जिह्वालौल्यं विवर्जयेत् ॥ १४ ॥
naivedyaṃ ca nivedyaiva kṛśarānnaṃ śivasya tu | kāṣṭhamaunena bhuṃjāno jihvālaulyaṃ vivarjayet || 14 ||
Pagkatapos munang ihandog ang naivedya—lalo na ang kṛśarā—kay Panginoong Śiva, saka kumain habang sinusunod ang ‘kāṣṭha-mauna’ (ganap na katahimikan), at sa gayon ay talikdan ang pabagu-bagong pagnanasa ng dila sa lasa.
