Narada (teaching/relaying ritual merit in Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"From dutiful offering to gods and ancestors, it expands into a wholesome family-sacral ideal (with sons and grandsons), concluding with a concrete list of pure offerings and the promised ascent to svarga."}
It teaches that harmonizing deva-yajña (offerings to the gods) with pitṛ-kārya (ancestral offerings) sustains dharma and yields auspicious posthumous merit, described here as attainment of svarga.
Though primarily ritual-focused, it supports bhakti indirectly by emphasizing reverent offering (arpana) to the devas and honoring the pitṛs—forms of disciplined devotion expressed through prescribed acts.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied through the specified substances—āpaḥ, kṣīra, kuśāgra, ghṛta, dadhi, madhu—indicating correct materials and method for tarpaṇa/śrāddha performance.
