The Account of the Fruits of Bathing at Particular Sacred Places
Tīrtha-viśeṣa-snāna-phala
विंध्याच्छतगुणा प्रोक्ता काशीपुर्यां तु जाह्नवी । सर्वत्र दुर्लभा गंगा त्रिषु स्थानेषु चाधिका ॥ २६ ॥
viṃdhyācchataguṇā proktā kāśīpuryāṃ tu jāhnavī | sarvatra durlabhā gaṃgā triṣu sthāneṣu cādhikā || 26 ||
Sa Kāśīpuri, ang Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā) ay ipinahayag na sandaang ulit na higit ang bisa kaysa sa Vindhya. Bagaman bihirang makamtan ang Gaṅgā saanman, sa tatlong pook siya’y lalo pang dakila.
